Overview

MCCrypt Lite includes the high-secure encryption algorithm AES and procedures for signing files and folders. The signing of a file means in this case the creation of a symmetrical digital signature. MCCrypt Lite contains in an extended form (in a reduced version compared to MCCrypt Pro) MCSign and MCVerify. MCCrypt Lite implements the Rijndael encryption algorithm which was selected to the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). MCCrypt Lite is a cryptographical application, which offers the user with the integrated standardized algoroithm the highest security level at the worldwide market.

		Optionally the Wipe function is available. It is used for the secure deletion of the original files after their successful encryption. In this option three algorithms and standards of MCWipe are implemented.
		Optionally also the use of Smartcards or flash storage mediums (for example USB flash memory) can be used for the secure selection of the cipher key. In this way the user does not have to remember passwords any more. It is a very convenient and secure possibility to realize encryption. In this option two components are available for the secure administration and generation of passwords. These components are on the one hand for Smartcards (MCKeyCard) and on the other hand for flash storage mediums (MCMemoryKey).

MCCrypt Lite will be inserted into the context menu of the Windows Explorer (Shellintegration) and through this it can be used as easy as Winzip on the selected Files and Folders.
